The Good Shepherd- A Christian Parable

In year one, we had a R.E. visitor who came to speak to us about the Christian Religion. During a lovely circle time she told us about, “The Parable of the Good Shepherd”. The children listened closely as she spoke about how Jesus took care of his herd of sheep and made sure that they were safe from harm. The children then created a piece of art that illustrated the parable.

This is a video that the children created, made the props, filmed and completed by themselves. they worked together to make a film for the reception children coming to year one next year. The children were very excited to create the video and as a result sometimes they needed to take a few recordings of each scene. Overall the children did a really great job. I was very proud of them.
