Welcome to the blog about 3T’s class assembly. In our assembly we told everybody including our parents that this year in year 3 we have learned about 3 exciting topics with fantastic trips. In year 3 there are these topics:
ROMANS, RECYCLING, EGYPTIANS. These are the 3 exciting topics. Now I will tell you about tutankhamun. You must be wondering who tutankhamun is? Well this is the most famous pharaoh in Egypt without a doubt. He became pharaoh at the tender age of nine in 1337 BC and reigned during the 18th dynasty when the Egyptian empire was at its height. He reigned from about 1333 to 1324 BC.

The Egyptians!
Welcome to my Class blog on the Egyptians.
In year 3 we have been learning about Egyptians. Did you know that Egypt was in a part of Africa? The story of ancient Egypt has survived for thousands of years. It was one of the greatest civilizations of the past. The monuments and tombs of their Pharaohs continue to stand intact today, some 4,000 years later!
A large river called the River Nile flows through the country into the Mediterranean Sea. The Nile enters Egypt from the Su dan and flows north for about 1545 km (about 960 m) to the sea.

Hi and welcome to our Claybury wood trip blog.
On the 9th of March our class 3T went to an environment trip to claybury woods which is a local park. We had to do lots of fun exiting things like seeing a 1 eye in the large tree and also playing some really fun games. Did you know that Claybury wood is a big park and it use to have a phenomenal hospital and the patients of the hospital were lucky in that they were able to get lots of fresh air as the hospital was based in the park?
We had an insect hunt which was a bit yukky and we had a pot to pick the insects up in.
After we all went to the enchanted woods. We were all really surprised because everyone was talking about a tree that had one eye!! When we got to the tree it did indeed have an eye! It was a bit spooky really to see a tree with an eye. We all heard a woodpecker that was pecking in the trees in the enchanted woods.
It was a wonderful day to be out in the fresh air and also it was very peaceful and relaxing.
