Hi and welcome to our Claybury wood trip blog.
On the 9th of March our class 3T went to an environment trip to claybury woods which is a local park. We had to do lots of fun exiting things like seeing a 1 eye in the large tree and also playing some really fun games.
Did you know that  Claybury wood is a big park and it use to have a phenomenal hospital and the patients of the hospital were lucky in that they were able to get lots of fresh air as the hospital was based in the park?
We had an insect hunt which was a bit yukky and  we had a pot to pick the insects up in.
After we all went to the enchanted woods. We were all really surprised because everyone was talking about a tree that had one eye!! When we got to the tree it did indeed have an eye! It was a bit spooky really to see a tree with an eye.  We all heard a  woodpecker that was pecking in the trees in the enchanted woods.
It was a wonderful day to be out in the fresh air and also it was very peaceful and relaxing.
Thank you for reading our class blog.
